Wesley Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers slammed Galatasaray coach Cesare Prandelli for leaving the Netherlands international on the bench in the Lions 2-1 win over Kasımpaşa.
“Wesley’s sold goal is the win the fourth star for Galatasaray and help his team achieve in Europe,” Albers was quoted as saying by Turkish newspaper Sabah.
“What happened in the last game upset Sneijder, he is fit, has a contract at the club until 2016.
“Prandelli only speaks Italian, the players do not know what they are supposed to do, this is a disgrace.
“There isn’t actually any problems within the team.
“We are talking about players with vast experience, who have played in some of the biggest leagues.
“Galatasaray need a manager with experience managing in different countries, who knows multiple languages.
“Wesley loves the team and wants the best for the club.”
Sneijder did not start against Kaısmpaşa however, did make an appearance in the second half.
Prandelli claimed that the decision to bench Sneijder was for tactical reasons.
