‘So basically no one wants him bar Fenerbache’ – Arsenal fans react to Mesut Ozil wanting to stay on social media
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil finally revealed his plans for next season yesterday.
It was good news for Arsenal fans – well those that like Ozil – as the playmaker of Turkish origin confirmed he will be staying at the club.
Ozil is currently in Australia with the rest of the Arsenal squad and will travel to China as well for the pre-season tour.
The 28-year-old will hold talks to renew his contract when he returns to London.
The news created a mixed response from Arsenal fans, we took a look at some of the reactions on Twitter.
There were quite a few fans who thought Ozil’s decision stemmed from there being little interest in him.
