‘So much better than Henderson’ – Liverpool fans call for star midfielder to replace captain
Liverpool beat Maribor 7-0 in the Champions League on Match Day 3.
The victory was the Reds biggest away win in the competition.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can started for the Reds, playing in Jordan Henderson’s usual role.

Liverpool fans on social media seemed to be pleased with Can’s display in his new position.
There appeared to be a lot of Liverpool fans calling for Can to be played in Jordan Henderson’s role and for the captain to be dropped.

Can needs to work on his consistency, it is constantly raised as a concern among Liverpool fans. He also needs to sign a new contract deal before January or could end up leaving on a free transfer.
