The Emre Can transfer saga is finally over as the midfielder of Turkish origin completed his move from Liverpool to Juventus on a free transfer.
Can signed a four-year deal after completing his medical in Turin, Italy.
Liverpool ended up losing Can for free after signing him on a £10.8m [Transfermarkt] move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014.
The midfielder will keep his No 23 shirt at Juventus.
We took a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to Can leaving on social media.
Can drew a mixed reaction with some Liverpool fans not bothered, others concerned he left for free and a few who thanked him for his services to the club.
Anyone else genuinely couldn’t care less about Emre Can I’m going to Juventus?

Yeah. A great player on the bench.

No transfer has perhaps embodied the player as much as Emre Can’s switch to Juventus. So slow, it feels like he’s walked to Turin.

Utterly have no idea about the point of leaving Liverpool and I’m sure if he stayed he would have been given massive opportunities next season. In Juventus where the midfield competition is more fiercer, no one can expect his quick settle and consistent form. Wrong decision

I would have still kept Emre Can. Knowing how we are, in the transfer market. Like I said in my previous reply. As far as big accounts? They just talk for the sake of talking. More like puppets. Whatever the club spouts? They follow and believe anything. They are on strings.

Emre Can out, Keita and Fabinho in, fantastic business. A talent lost and immediately replaced by two bigger talents incoming

Wish Emre Can farewell for going to Juventus, on his day he was one of our best midfielders but never a consistent starter for us at his time. Always greatful for his vital goal against Watford which got us top 4 last year. Pleasure for his service at the club, danke Emre!

Emre Can’s signing in Turin has seemingly taken forever.
Apt really, as him turnin’ on the ball took forever too.
— Ste Hoare (@stehoare) June 21, 2018
Surely not!
Looks like Emre Can is getting a €16 million signing on fee. Fair play to him!
— Ste Hoare (@stehoare) June 21, 2018
Good point! Liverpool helped develop Can and he was a fan favorite. Few managers would have kept his as a first-choice player as Jurgen Klopp did considering his contract situation.
Hope Emre Can doesn’t forget to say thank you to us supporters and the club.

That’s a good way of putting it.
It appears Emre Can is finally about to finalize his move to Juventus today: he didn’t join a rival he didn’t disrespect our club he played out his contract gave his all for the club and moved on. Good player and wish he stayed but I’m more than happy with Fabinho. Good luck Emre pic.twitter.com/5iSEWFycGW

Pure bants. Oh there was a lot of banter!
Emre Can has finally arrived in Turin.
Juventus fans, if you think that was slow – wait until you see him play.

He can turn slower than milk and be appreciated as they love a good cheese in Northern Italy

Interesting transfer policy from Juventus.
Players Juventus have signed on a free in the last decade:
2009: Fabio Cannavaro
2011: Andrea Pirlo
2012: Paul Pogba
2013: Fernando Llorente
2014: Kingsley Coman
2015: Sami Khedira
2016: Dani Alves
2018: Emre Can??? pic.twitter.com/hYAZI86pHf
