Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly interested in bringing Red Devils midfielder Casemiro to Besiktas according to AS.
Casemiro’s status at Old Trafford has diminished under new manager Ruben Amorim, with the Brazilian spending a significant amount of time on the bench in recent weeks.

Amorim recently explained his decision to limit Casemiro’s game time, stating, “I have to make some choices. I want to play a style of game that is sometimes different from other coaches and I have to choose based on that, that’s all.”
With Casemiro seemingly available for transfer, Spanish publication AS reports that Solskjaer is keen to reunite with the former Real Madrid star at Besiktas.
Solskjaer recently dismissed speculation linking him with moves for both Casemiro and Marcus Rashford. “There’s always a lot of speculation about Manchester United players, always a lot of speculation around me,” Solskjaer told TRT Spor earlier this month.
“Casemiro, Marcus – two very good players, but I have not spoken to any of them.”
Despite these denials, the reports of Solskjaer’s continued interest in Casemiro persist. Whether a move materializes remains to be seen.
Solskjaer got off to a great start at Besiktas beating Athletic Bilbao 4-1 in the Europa League and will be hoping to build on his initial success by strengthening the squad over the winter transfer window.
