Arsenal take on Southampton St Mary’s stadium hoping to close the gap with with the top four.

The Gunners face the prospect of finishing outside the top-four for the first time in 20 years but they still have enough games to make up lose ground.

The North London based outfit are currently in sixth-place but have a game in hand over fifth-placed Manchester United who they would overtake with a win.

Arsenal would move three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City with a win against the Saints but as Liverpool found out last week they are no pushovers.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could have a double injury boost with Granit Xhaka and Lucas Perez both recovering form their injuries.

Both players will be a game time call according to the Telegraph.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi has also returned to the squad after recovering from his injury but he is unlikely to start.

Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil is also in the provisional squad and is likely to be in the starting lineup
