Turkey beat Iran 2-1 at the Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul thanks to a brace from Cenk Tosun.
The Everton striker has now been involved in seven goals in his last eight games for Turkey – five goals, two assists.
In fact he has scored seven goals with his last 10 shots on target in all competitions.
Tosun wrapped up his first term at Everton scoring five times since joining from Besiktas in January.
The 26-year-old has a total of 10 goals in 28 games for the Turkey national side.
