Star midfielder’s return date confirmed amid Juventus plotting €25m move
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can’s return date has been confirmed.
The 23-year-old was granted an extended summer break by the Reds after his involvement in the Confederation’s cup last month.
Can helped Germany lift the international trophy in Russia.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man will return to Melwood on Sunday to begin his pre-season training. Can is expected to join the rest of his teammates after completing a specialised program to bring him back up to speed.
Can spent his three-week holiday relaxing in Los Angles and Bodrum.

However, the midfielder’s Liverpool future is still cast in doubt. The Italian outlet Tuttospor claim that Juve see Can as the heir to midfield maestro Sami Khedira.
The report goes onto state that the Serie A giants are ready to table a €25 million for Can despite having just 12 months remaining on his contract.
Liverpool face Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on July 29, before heading to Munich for the Audi Cup. The Reds will take on Bayern Munich (August 1) and one of Atletico Madrid or Napoli (August 2).
Tuttospor are the equivalent of the S** so anything they report should be taken with a pinch of salt.
