Bruno Fernandes has hit the ground running following his £50 million move to Manchester United from Bruno Fernandes.

The Portugal international has already racked up three assists and scored two goals in five appearances for the Red Devils.

Fernandes’ performances have not gone unnoticed by Man United fans looking to compare him to Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

Ozil has come under fire in recent months for his lack of goals and assists. The 31-year-old has registered just three assists and a goal this season.

Despite Ozil playing over 12 more games in the Premier League than Fernandes, the Man United ace has already overtaken him in the stats department.

Furthermore, Fernandes has taken more shots, created more chances and made more tackles than Ozil in the Premier League this season.

Ozil does, however, boast a better pass accuracy at 88%.

In all, with the Premier League currently suspended due to the Coronavirus, it seems, fans have taken to social media to dig into stats to get one over their rivals.

Social media is full of these comparisons.

Expect plenty more stat comparisons and these kinds of discussions with no Premier League football until April at the earliest.

It’s going to be a long wait!
