Galatasaray returned to winning ways in the Super Lig with a 1-0 victory over Erzurumspor in the Super Lig on Friday in the Super Lig.
Stoke City loanee Badou Ndiaye started for the Lions and put in a performance that was widely praised.
Super Lig broadcaster had Ndiaye as one of the three choices for man of the match after the game.
Ndiaye made 38 passes with a 92 percent accuracy against the visitors. The Senegal international also put on an impressive defensive display.
No other Galatasaray player made more successful tackles (4) or interceptions (2). Ndiaye also contributed in the final third taking three shots and setting up one goal scoring opportunity.
He also had a goal scoring chance himself but poor control let him down in a one-on-one situation with the opposition goalkeeper.
Ndiaye has established himself as a first-team player in the Galatasaray central midfield fulfilling defensive as well as attacking duties.
The 27-year-old has one assist in six appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul giants this season.
Ndiaye will however, miss the Champions League Match Day 2 clash against Porto this week due to suspension.
