Stoke City have been linked with a surprise move for Galatasaray centre-back Serdar Aziz.
The Turkey international cemented himself as a first team regular in Fatih Terim’s starting eleven last season and helped the Lions lift their 21’st Turkish Super Lig title.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Stoke City are interesting in singing Aziz this summer.
Per the source, the Potters have set aside £4 million for the Turkey international. The report goes onto state that Stoke views Aziz as a suitable partner for Ryan Shawcross in defence.

However, Galatasaray are light on options in defence following the departure of Jason Denayer over the summer. Manager Fatih Terim is unlikely to green-light Aziz’s exit unless a replacement can be found.
Aziz has another two years remaining on his contract with the Istanbul based club. Galatasaray are back in action this weekend when they take on Akhisar in the Turkish Super Cup.
