Manchester City face Stoke City at the Bet 365 Stadium in their final game before the international break.

Pep Guardiola will be without star striker Sergio Aguero who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Aguero’s condition is not reported to be serious and he is likely to join the squad for the warm-weather training camp in Abu Dhabi set to go ahead soon after the game.

David Silva is back but will miss the training camp after being granted compassionate leave to spend more time with his prematurely born son.

Raheem Sterling and midfielder Fernandinho both start after recovering from hamstring injuries.

Ilkay Gundogan will not make his fifth back to back Premier League start.

The midfielder of Turkish origin has been in impressive form and Pep Guardiola has been full of praise for his star man.

Gundogan has been given a rest and will start the match on the bench.

Meanwhile, left-back Fabian Delph has not made the squad after picking up a knock.

Benjamin Mendy has returned to training after recovering from a knee injury but has not made the team.

Stoke meanwhile will be without stiker Mame Diouf, Stephen Ireland and goalkeeper Lee Grant.

Jese Rodriguez has replaced Diouf.

Defender Kevin Wimmer and striker Saido Berahino, could return after recovering from injury.
