“Strong with Huge Technical Skills” – Euro giants icon waxes lyrical about Liverpool’s Emre Can, €4m per-year deal reported
Serie A giants Juventus have kept up their charm offensive on Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move away from Anfield after failing to pen a new deal with Liverpool. Can could even end up leaving the club for free next summer unless he is sold in January of sign’s a new deal.
Juve vice-president Pavel Nedved spoke to the German outlet Sky Deutschland following the Champions League draw and was asked about Emre Can.
“He is an extraordinary footballer. He is physically strong with huge technical skills and the German football mentality,” Nedved stated.
The quotes come days after Italian television network Rai Sport claimed that Can agreed a €4m per-year contract with Juve.
Per the source, the 23-year-old will sign a five-year deal with the reigning Serie A champions next summer.
Can has played a key role in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven despite failing to pen a new deal. The Germany international has managed to rack up 20 appearances this season in all competitions.
