Wolves have been closely linked with a move for Besiktas defender Pepe in the Turkish media.
The Fanatik sports newspaper claimed that the Black Eagles are prepared to sell Pepe for £6.2m [€7m].
Besiktas president Fikret Orman has however, confirmed that Pepe will not be sold this summer.
“Pepe has another season remaining on his contract,” Orman said.
“We are delighted to have him at the club and he is a player who adds brand value.
“We don’t intend to sell Pepe.
“Unless he wants to leave… which is applicable to every player.”
The Black Eagles made it clear they have not received an offer and have not entered talks with any club over selling the defender.
The 35-year-old is likely to remain a Besiktas player over the summer.
The transfer of Chile defender Enzo Roco was viewed as some as an indicator that Besiktas are preparing for the sale of Pepe.
The Istanbul based side did however, recently sell Mitrovic to Club Brugge.
Additionally they are preparing to part ways with Domagoj Vida as well.

Pepe joined Besiktas from Real Madrid last summer and was one of the stand out players for the Super Lig giants over the 2017-18 campaign.
The defender scored twice and provided one assist in 35 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions last season.
Pepe won 13 trophies across 10 seasons at Real Madrid including the La Liga title and Champions League.
