Super Lig Wrap 7: Wilfried Zaha Scores First Goal, Fenerbahce & Besiktas Win

The seventh round of Super Lig games saw the had no upsets with all top six sides winning their respective games.

Galatasaray kicked things off against Ankaragucu and had to come from behind to win the game 2-1.

Lions manager Okan Buruk will be pleased with Wilfried Zaha’s performance.

Zaha started and scored his first goal for Galatasaray and what a goal it was.

The Ankaragucu defence will be having nightmares after being tormented by Zaha over the course of the game.

Elsewhere Gaziantep beat Samsunspor 2-1. Sivasspor were held to a goalless draw against Hatayspor and Antalyaspor beat Istanbulspor.

Trabzosnpor meanwhile, beat Pendikspor 2-1 at home. Southampton loanee Paul Onuachu found the back of the net again taking his season tally to three.

Sunday saw Fenerbahce regain top spot in the Super Lig after beating Rizespor 5-0.

Sebastian Szymanski opened the scoring after just three minutes. Irfan Kahveci, Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic and Joshua King all got their names on the scoresheet as well.

Dzeko now has five goals and two assists in seven appearances in the league for Fenerbahce.

Besiktas returned to winning ways after a humiliating defeat against Adana Demirspor by beating Konyaspor 2-0 away from home.

Ugurcan Yazili scored an own goal and Vincent Aboubakar wrapped up all three points with a brilliant goal.

Patrick Kluivert’s Adana Demirspor continued their fine form after crushing Alanyaspor 4-0 at home.
