Swansea City target Dundee United striker Nadir Çiftçi

The Premier League side Swansea City have set their sights on Dundee United’s in-form striker Nadir Çiftçi.

According to Club Call the Swans are one of several Premier League and Championship clubs tracking the 23-year-old.

The report goes onto state that Swansea have scouted Çiftçi numerous times this season and may launch an offer this Summer.

Swansea have been on the look-out for a new striker since the departure of Wilfred Bony to Manchester City in January.

The 23-year-old was named in the PFA Scotland’s Scottish Premiership Team of the Year for 2013/2014 season.

Çiftçi has previously played for Portsmouth, Kayserispor in Turkey and NAC Breda in Holland. Çiftçi joined Dundee on a free transfer from NAC Breda last summer.

The former Kayserispor striker has been capped for Holland U17’s, and Turkey U19’s level.

The  Den Haag born striker has nine assists and 14 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions this season.
