Swansea Loanee Faces Race Against Time To Make Champions League Debut Tonight – Fenerbahce vs Benfica Probable Lineups

Fenerbahce take on Benfica in the UEFA Champions League Third Round Playoff clash tonight at the Luz stadium in Portugal.

The Yellow Canaries will be hoping to make it past to the playoffs and keep their hopes of booking a place in the Champions League final for the first time in 10 years alive.

The big question is whether Swansea loanee Andre Ayew will be match fit for the clash.

Ayew picked up an injury in the 2-1 friendly victory over Cagliari.

The 28-year-old has recovered but Phillip Cocu has not decided whether he will feature of not.

The powerful forward faces a race against time to regain full match fitness before the game.

It is likely that Ayew starts the game on the bench.

Josef De Souza is out suspended and Roberto Soldado is not expected to play after only recently recovering from injury.

Salih Ucan, Berke Ozer and Ferdi Kadioglu have not made the 23-man squad but 18-year-old wonder kid Eljif Elmas is expected to start. Baris Alici may also make the cut.
