Arsenal take on Swansea at the Liberty stadium hoping to maintain their position as Premier League leaders.

Mesut Özil is expected to start for the Gunners after an impressive spell of form providing five assists in four league games for the Gunners.

Olivier Giroud is likely to start upfront following injury to Theo Walcott midweek in the embarrassing League Cup exit against Sheffield Wednesday.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been ruled out for the Gunners but Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla are set to make a return after missing the League Cup game.

The Gunners may be Premier League leaders but Swansea have the better head to head record having beat the north London based side four out of the eight times they have played each other.
