Emre Can finalised his move to Serie A giants Juventus this week after spending four years with Liverpool.
Interestingly, Can left the club for free after failing to agree a new deal with the Merseyside based club.
According to the Mirror, Can was allowed to leave Liverpool following a despite with manager Jurgen Klopp regarding his position.
Per the source, while the relationship between Can and Klopp never deteriorated and remains strong, the two could not agree upon Can’s playing position.
Can spent the majority of the season playing as a box-to-box midfielder with attacking responsibilities or as a defensive midfield anchorman.
The Mirror claims that Can would prefer to play as a defensive midfielder, believing that is where he is best suited.
