Theo Walcott believes there is allot more to come from £27m Everton signing

Everton star forward Theo Walcott has spoken about his teammate Cenk Tosun during an interview with the clubs official website.

Tosun made the move to Everton in January following a £27 million transfer from Besiktas.

The Turkey international provided one assist and scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Everton during the second half of the season.

Walcott has stated that there is allot more to come from Tosun next season as the star striker has settled in well with the Merseyside based club.

“Cenk has settled in really well and you will see a lot more from him next season,” Walcott stated during an interview with Everton’s official website.

“He feels at home here, I believe. It’s a different culture and that’s not an easy thing for any player.”

Tosun is expected to lead the line for Everton next season as part of Marco’s 4-3-3 system.

The 27-year-old forward netted four goals in six UEFA Champions League appearances last season and was on form for the Turkey national team over the summer.

Tosun will be well rested coming into the 2018/19 season after Turkey missed out on qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. The star striker has instead spent the summer relaxing in the Mediterranean.
