‘Thinks He’s Playing Rugby’ – Liverpool fans react to Emre Can display on social media after winning Confederations Cup
Germany ended up winning the Confederations Cup for the first time in their history after beating Chile 1-0 in the final yesterday.
Liverpool star Emre Can did not start the game but did make a brief second half display.
The 23-year-old did not actually start the last two games for Germany in the tournament.
We took a look at how Reds fans reacted to Can’s display on social media.

For a player on the field for 10 minutes, Can sure did make his presence felt.
The 23-year-old managed to pick up a yellow card for the second consecutive game.
Can was also involved in a ridiculous piece of time wasting.
The midfielder of Turkish origin decided to claim he was fouled and then hide the ball between his legs as if he was preparing himself for a rugby scrum.

Can did end up getting roughed up a bit and even got a finger poked up his bum.

Not everyone was impressed. After all Can did not get to start for what was a second-string Germany side missing most of their major stars.
Can’t even make it to the starting line up of Germany team B.

Emre Can can’t even start for this German C team yet Liverpool fans will tell you he’s a world class talent at 23 years of age
