3. Ozan Tufan
Tufan literally went from zero to hero within the space of a season. Completely unknown within Turkey let alone outside the country until the 2014-15 league campaign Tufan has gone from strength to strength. The 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder took the league by storm and was Turkish Cup finalists Bursaspor’s star man in the middle. The young midfielder has not gone unnoticed. “Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan (his father) told Spanish newspaper AS. The one club his father didn’t mention was Liverpool which is ironic considering the Reds happen to be the club Tufan would be most keen on leaving Turkey for.
