Roma were held to a 1-1 draw against Torino and ended up being overtaken by rivals Lazio in the Serie A league standings.
Despite being leapfrogged by Lazio, manager Rudi Garcia stated that he was pleased with his sides performance.
“It was a good performance, we just lacked a more positive result,” Garcia told Sky Sport Italia.
“We played well and if we continue like this in the next eight games, we’ll win many of them. We know no team will be able to win all the remaining eight rounds.
“I am happy with the team and the attitude, as we were the only ones playing and had 24 shots on goal despite being the away team.”
Turkish international Salih Uçan did not start for Roma but he did get to play the last seven minutes.
Uçan replaced Miralem Pjanic on 83 minutes but was unable to change the score in Roma’s favour.
The 21-year-old only recently from injury that saw him ruled out for 10 days.
Uçan has now made three appearances for Roma in all competitions this season.
