Tottenham Ace Harry Kane Just One Goal Away From Matching North London Derby Record After Arsenal Finish

Tottenham beat Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley Stadium in the North London derby on Saturday.

Spurs ace Harry Kane scored the winner in the second half taking his overall tally in debut games to seven goals.

Kane is now one goal behind matching the top scorer in Arsenal – Tottenham derby clashes, Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Basaksehir striker has eight goals in the Premier League during North London derby games.

Adebayor actually has 10 goals in all competitions in the derby fixture although he has played for both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Kane now has the same number of goals in derby games as former Arsenal man Robert Pires (7).

The Togo international has played a major role in the Istanbul minnows title challenge this season.

Basaksehir are currently second in the Super Lig, one point behind leaders Galatasaray.

Adebayor has a 0.53 goal to game ratio this season at Basaksehir, his highest since the 2007-08 season at Arsenal, 10 years ago.

The striker from Togo has 10 goals in the Super Lig, 12 in all competitions and has provided two assists.

The experienced striker has 42 goals and 20 assists in 113 appearances for Spurs.
