Tottenham Hotspur, fresh off their Europa League triumph and securing Champions League qualification, are reportedly ready to sanction the departure of forward Richarlison. New manager Thomas Frank, who inherits the monumental task of building on the club’s recent silverware, has reportedly given his approval for the Brazilian international’s sale as Spurs embark on a significant summer rebuild.
The Lilywhites’ transfer market activity has been notably slow, a source of frustration for fans eager to see the squad strengthened. With rivals already making moves, Tottenham faces the risk of missing out on key targets, particularly in the attacking department, where last season’s struggles highlighted a pressing need for reinforcements.

Richarlison, who arrived at Tottenham in a high-profile £60 million deal from Everton in July 2022, has endured a challenging three-year spell plagued by persistent injuries. Despite these setbacks, the 28-year-old enjoyed a strong finish to the 2024/25 campaign, playing a crucial role in the club’s Europa League success, even starting the final against Manchester United ahead of captain Son Heung-min.
However, it appears his late-season heroics aren’t enough to secure his future in North London. According to an exclusive report from The Sun, Tottenham is now keen to cut their losses and offload the versatile forward in the current transfer window. Manager Thomas Frank has reportedly greenlighted Richarlison’s prospective exit.
While reports in recent months had linked Richarlison with a potential return to Everton, it seems a reunion with the Toffees is off the cards. Everton boss David Moyes has reportedly rejected the opportunity to re-sign the Brazilian, opting instead to focus on other targets to replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The same report indicates that Richarlison is now expected to move to Turkey, with Süper Lig champions Galatasaray emerging as his likely destination. With a deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen reportedly looking increasingly unlikely, Galatasaray has shifted its attention to the Tottenham man. Notably, Richarlison is understood to be available for a fee as low as £20 million, a significant reduction from his initial transfer fee and a clear signal of Tottenham’s intent to move him on this summer.
For Richarlison, a move would offer the prospect of regular first-team football, crucial for his ambitions to secure a spot in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. However, with Dominic Solanke reportedly set to be Frank’s preferred choice to lead the attack and the club seemingly moving in a new direction, Richarlison’s tenure at Hotspur Way appears to be nearing its conclusion.
