Per the source, the Lions are prepared to sell Nelsson after finding his replacement in Davinson Sanchez.

Galatasaray are looking for a transfer fee of between €15 million and €20 million for Nelsson, who has a market value of €19 million.

Nelsson wants to leave the club and has fallen down the pecking order as a result.

Galatasaray are aware the 25-year-old wants to leave, he made it clear to the club at the end of the season that he feels his time at the club has run its course.

The Lions decided to keep Nelsson on until they found a replacement in Sanchez but it was too late into the transfer window to find a new club for the Denmark international.

Sanchez joined the Yellow-Reds on 4 September which was after the Premier League transfer window had shut.

Nelson has played 13 matches for Galatasaray this season, starting 10 of them, but has failed to score or provide an assist.

The centre-back joined Galatasaray on a €7m move from Copenhagen in 2021 and played an important role in the Turkish giants winning the Super Lig title last season.
