Tottenham Loanee Will Miss 8th Successive Game For Fenerbahce

Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen will miss his eighth successive game for Fenerbahce due to his ongoing injury problem.

Janssen has been ruled out of the Yellow Canaries Turkish Cup clash against Corap Giresunspor along with Giuliano, Luis Neto, Sener Ozbayrakli and Martin Skrtel.

Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman is expected to rotate his side heavily to avoid his injury crisis getting any worse ahead of important league games coming up.

Janssen has been ruled out of action for at least another month following the results of an MR scan yesterday.

The Dutch forward has injured his big toe on his right foot.

The injury has already kept him out of action for the past one-and-a-half months.

The 23-year-old picked up the injury during the 1-0 away victory versus Bursaspor before the winter break at the Timsah Arena.

The Netherlands international also had a Malleolar injury which ruled him out of action for 27 days last season at Tottenham.

Fenerbahce are in the midst of an injury crisis up front. Roberto Soldado is lacking match fitness and Robin van Persie recently left the club for Feyenoord.

Fernando is currently the only fit striker available.
