Galatasaray and Turkish national team winger Baris Alper Yilmaz, is turning heads with his recent performances.

Turkish journalist Uğur Karakullukçu praised Yılmaz on his Youtube channel, calling him an “animal” and highlighting his impressive dribbling skills.

Karakullukçu further fueled the hype by claiming that scouts from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were present at the recent Czech Republic vs Turkey match, specifically watching Yılmaz.

“Baris Alper Yılmaz was an animal. How is he so successful at dribbling? He gets between 3 people, passes them, throws a feint, goes in. He did the show. It is stupid to talk to Barış Alper in this match, he was unbelievable,” he said.

He added that continued strong performances from Yılmaz could lead to increased interest from these Premier League clubs.

“Manchester United and Tottenham both scouts Barış Alper in the Czechia – Turkey match. I had it confirmed. If he continues like this, it seems that they will continue to watch it,” he added.

Yılmaz has been a consistent performer for Galatasaray and has recently broken into the Turkish national team. His impressive display against the Czech Republic showcased his attacking prowess and dribbling ability, raising his profile on the international stage.

The Galatasaray winger was deployed as a striker in the first two Turkish national team games against Georgia and Portugal.

He struggled playing out of position but excelled after being put on the wing against Czechia and turned the game on its head in the second half.

Yilmaz should have had an assist and was directly involved in the opening goal which was eventually converted by Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish International had seven goals and 12 assists in 58 appearances in all competitions for Galatasaray last season including three assists in the Champions League.
