Tottenham outcast Vincent Janssen has yet to make a single appearance for the North London based outfit this season.

Spurs’ forgotten man had been linked with a return to Fenerbahce where he spent last season on loan.

Recently appointed club president Ali Koc was however, not interested in the Netherlands international and ruled out a move for the striker.

Janssen ended up staying on at Fenerbahce despite being closely linked with an exit all summer.

Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac are now reporting that Janssen could still end up in Turkey but not to Fenerbahce.

Per the source, the 25-year-old has been offered to Fenerbahce rivals Galatasaray through his representatives.

The Lions have made signing a new striker a priority after failing to replace Bafetimbi Gomis over the summer.

Gomis played an integral role in the Yellow-Reds lifting the league title last term scoring 32 goals and providing six assists in all competitions.

Galatasaray have just one out and out striker in their current squad, Eren Derdiyok.

Head coach Fatih Terim has been forced to play wingers Sinan Gumus and Henry Onyekuru up front at times this campaign.

Terim has instructed the board to sign a new striker in January as he does not feel the current squad is strong enough to compete in domestic and European competition for the entirety of the season.

Despite lacking depth upfront Galatasaray are currently first in the Super Lig and are just one point behind leaders Schalke in the Champions League Group D.
