Tottenham Plan to Watch Turkish ‘Harry Potter’ Against Bayern Munich


Tottenham will send scouts to watch Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu in the Champions League Group A clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday according to Milliyet journalist Nevzat Dindar – known for his close ties to the Lions.

Per the source, scouts from England, Germany, Spain, Russia to watch Galatasaray stars against Bayern Munich.

Several Galatasaray players will be under the watchful eye of scouts from England, Germany, Spain, and Russia in the upcoming match against Bayern Munich.

Atletico Madrid and Tottenham officials have reportedly made reservations to watch Aktürkoğlu who is nicknamed ‘Harry Potter’ due to his appearance and goal celebration; waving an imaginary wand.

The report claims both sides had scouts at the Istanbul derby over the weekend between Galatasaray and Besiktas as well.

Both clubs will be following the two matches closely to get a better assessment of the players.

Spurs have been linked with Akturkoglu this season after an impressive start to the campaign. He scored in the 3-2 victory over Manchester United on Match Day 2.

In total the Turkish international has five goals and seven assists in 17 appearances in all competitions this season.

The 25-year-old is under contract until 2025 and has 24 international caps for Turkiye.
