Tottenham in pole position to sign Feyenoord wonder-kid Ozancan Kokcu, Everton also in race

Ozancan Kokcu

Tottenham and Everton are both plotting a move for Feyenoord youngster Ozancan Kokcu his agent Muzzi Ozcan revealed to Emre Sarigul of Turkish-Football.com and Yahoo.

Spurs are currently leading the race to sign the 18-year-old forward and have entered talks with the player.

Everton and Tottenham could also face competition from leading Bundesliga sides.

“We have serious offers from England, Holland and Germany,” Ozcan said.

“Tottenham, Everton and clubs in Germany are speaking to him, Spurs are pursuing the contract the hardest.

“In the coming weeks we will decide his future.”

Feyenoord want to keep Kokcu on a long-term deal but he has just six-months remaining on his current contract.

Kokcu is free to talk with other clubs and Feyenoord have been unable to get their rising star to sign a new agreement.

The young forward is keen on Premier League football and both Everton as well as Tottenham have a history of giving hot prospects a shot in the first team.

Spurs have the youngest team in the Premier League with an average age of 18 and the Toffees have given a chance to several young players this season.
