Tottenham prepare shock €8m January offer for Serbian international defender
Tottenham are preparing a January move for Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic according to reports in Turkey.
FutbolArena report that Spurs are prepared to offer €8 million to sign the Serbian international.
The move comes as a shock considering Tosic did not start the season as the Black Eagles first choice in defence.
In fact he was for many fans and pundits seen as a liability, the weakest link in the Besiktas side.
Tosic has however, silenced his critics with impressive displays in the Super Lig and Champions League, striking up a partnership with former Real Madrid centre-back Pepe.
It is also worth noting that the versatile defender is 33-years-old which would appear to make him a strange choice for Mauricio Pochettino.

Tosic is a versatile defender who can play as centre-back or left-back.
The Serbian international is expected to represent his country at Russia 2018.
The report also claims that several other clubs are keen on signing Tosic this January.
Tosic is no stranger to England, enjoying a brief spell at QPR.
Besiktas are currently first in the Champions League Group G and five points behind league leaders Galatasaray in the league.
