Tottenham and Real Madrid were unable to send scouts to Turkey to keep tabs on Trabzonspor striker Alexander Sorloth due to the coronavirus outbreak according to Assist Analiz.
Per the source, both sides were planning to send scouts to the Trabzonspor clash against Basaksehir.
Unlike most European leagues the Super Lig did go ahead this weekend.

The Trabzonspor game against Basaksehir did go ahead and ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, it was played behind closed doors.
The report claims that Spurs and Real had planned to have scouts at the game.
The Turkish government has placed restrictions on inbound flights and this is believed to have influenced the decision not to send scouts.
It just goes to show how rapidly the pandemic has spread over the past week. The two teams in mention had been sending scouts to monitor Trabzonspor games as recently as the start of the month.
Sorloth started against Basaksehir but did not add to his impressive goal or assist tally.
Despite the draw Trabzonspor remained top of the Super Lig, ahead of second-placed Basaksehir by virtue of goal difference.
Sorloth is on loan from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal but the Premier League side do not have clause to recall the striker and gave Trabzonspor a €6m buy option.
The Norway international already has 25 goals and has provided seven assists in all competitions this season.
As things stand the Turkish league does plan to continue operating behind closed doors until the end of the month.
