All that remains for the Yellow-Reds is for Tanganga to decide whether he wants to go ahead with the temporary move.

The 22-year-old defender would be given a full season of regular first-team football in the Super Lig and the Lions are also in the Europa League.

The young centre-back struggled last term with injury.

Spurs appear to be open to Tanganga continuing his development by gaining experience on loan.

Reports from Turkey meanwhile, claim that the defender is open to the move.

Fanatik reported last week that he had agreed to a deal in principle and that all that was left was for the two clubs to agree.

The Turkish sports newspaper also added that the Lions wanted a buy option added to the loan terms.

The Athletic report does not however, mention a buy clause.

Galatasaray finished last season as runners-up in the Turkish Super Lig. Fatih Terim is keen on strengthening his side and making a title challenge next term.
