Tottenham have revived their interest in the Mainz attacking midfielder Yunus Malli.
According to the Mirror, Malli has been on Tottenham’s radar in recent months and the north London based club are preparing to make a move. The 24-year-old is understood to have a €7.5 million release clause in his contract.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has stated that he expected Spurs to sign more reinforcements this summer.
“I expect some signings in the next few weeks. We will see what happens, but I expect some activity,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
The Turkish outlet Fotospor report that Fenerbahce are have also set their sights on the Mainz midfielder.
Malliscored 11 goals and provided five assist in 36 appearances for Maniz last season. The 24-year-old was included in Turkey’s squad which competed at Euro 2016 this summer in France.
