Tottenham set sight on Mainz midfielder to reinforce the midfield

Tottenham are looking to reinforce their midfield with two players according to the Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web.

The report states that the North London based club have set their sights on the FC Zenit Saint Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel and Maniz’s Turkish international Yunus Malli.

Tottenham are currently locked in a race for the Premier league title with rivals Arsenal and leaders Leicester City.

The German tabloid Sport Bild has reported that Tottenham are interested in signing the Turkish international who has had an excellent season so far.

Spurs had scouts present at Maniz’s game against Hanover 96 recently according to Tutto Mercatto.

Malli is expected to be called up to the Turkish national team for the European Championships in France over the summer.

Malli has scored goals and has provided four assist in 29 appearances for Maniz this season.
