Tottenham striker believes Netherlands can win 7-0 in key World Cup qualifier

Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has been in impressive form for on-loan club Fenerbahce.

Janssen has two goals since joining the Yellow Canaries including a winning strike in the 2-1 win over reigning Super Lig champions Besiktas in the Istanbul derby.

The striker also has two assists to his name for the Istanbul giants this season in four league games.

The 23-year-old has been called up to the Dutch national team.

Janssen will need to be at his best if the Netherlands are to face any chance of booking a place in the 2018 World Cup.

“Yes we need to win 7-0 and sure we have a small chance but a small chance is all it takes,” Janssen told Fanatik.

“It will be tough but these things happen in football, we can do it.”

Netherlands will have to beat Sweden 7-0 to stand any chance of making it to the World Cup in Russia next summer.

Janssen will start upfront for Holland against Sweden at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Sweden are currently 2nd in Group A, three points ahead of Netherlands. Due to their goal difference the visitors can afford to lose 6-0 and still make it to the playoffs.
