Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has scored five times and provided four assists in 18 games on loan for Fenerbahce over the course of a season blighted by injury troubles.
Fenerbahce have yet to make a decision over whether they will move to keep him at the club for another season on loan or push for a permanent deal.
The Yellow Canaries will choose their new president on 3 June 2018 with the incumbent Aziz Yildirim running against business mogul Ali Koc.
Who wins the election will determine the Yellow Canaries next move.
A source close to Fenerbahce revealed that Yildirim’s camp are keen on keeping Janssen on for at least another season while Koc wants rid of the player.
Koc publically criticised the current board for signing the Netherlands international on loan.

“It’s incredible. A club as large as Fenerbahce always seems to be paying over the odds for players and it has even become a club tradition. That’s not a good sign financially,” Koc was quoted as saying by FutbolArena.
“For example, we have paid €5m for Vincent Janssen. This is just a loan deal,”
“No option to buy or a redemption clause. We paid €5m for a 10-month loan deal. This is not good for our club. We need to do it better and we can do it better.”
Despite missing nearly four months of the season through injury, Jansen managed to impress the technical staff and board when fit and has become popular with the fans.
As for the 23-year-old’s Tottenham future it does not look likely that he will be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for next season.
