Galatasaray have entered talks with Bruma over a contract extension deal according to club sporting director Leven Nazifoglu.
Nazifoglu revealed that Bruma wants to stay at the club but that he wants an increase in wages.
The sporting director also stated that Bruma is open to leaving and that all will be discussed with the player going forwards.
Bruma is not however, expected to leave over the winter transfer window.
“We held talks with Bruma for two hours and he wants to stay but wants higher wages,” Nazifoglu was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“We will hold further talks after the transfer window, right now he wants to stay and he wants to go.”
Bruma has been closely linked with Tottenham who have been scouting the Portuguese international a source close to the player told Turkish-Football.
The 22-year-old has just over a year remaining on his contract and Galatasaray are keen on signing an extension to avoid losing him on a cut-price deal in the summer.
Galatasaray value Bruma as being worth €20 million and want to include a release fee as part of his contract extension.
The Istanbul giants currently have their hands tied over what they can offer Bruma due to the FFP regulations.
Galatasaray are serving a one-year suspension from European competition due to breaching FFP regulations.
