Tottenham transfer news: France international flop to remain at Spurs, Euro Giants unable to strike deal
France international Moussa Sissoko is set to remain at Tottenham this season.
The out-of-favour midfielder was linked with a move away from the north London-based club after falling out of favour with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Sissoko has been used as a bit-part player since his lofty £30 million transfer from Newcastle United last season. The France international has played just 88 minutes of football so far this term.
Neither Serie A giants Inter Milan or Turkish Super League side Trabzonspor were able to strike a deal with Tottenham for Sissoko.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claimed that Inter offered a lump sum plus Croatia international Marcelo Brozovic in exchange for Sissoko.
Per the source, Tottenham were only willing to accept a £30 million offer for the 28-year-old.

Turkish giants Trabzonspor were also in talks with Tottenham with the view of signing Sissoko on a loan deal. As the Turkish transfer window ends next week, the Black Sea Storm can still table a new and improved offer for the France international.
However, Tottenham are unlikely to sell Sissoko this summer without being able to bring in a replacement.
FFS what do we need to do to shift this donkey?
