Tottenham transfer news: Turkish giant refusing to give up on signing £30m Moussa Sissoko

Turkish Super League giants Trabzonspor haven’t given up hopes of signing Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The Black Sea Storm suffered a set-back last week when Daniel Levy blocked the France international’s exit to Trabzon.

The Tottenham chairman is keen to sell Sissoko in order to recoup the majority of the £30 million (BBC) spent on him last summer.

However, a source close to Trabzonspor has told Turkish-Football.com that they have not given up on the possibility of signing Sissoko. The Black Sea storm are willing to wait until transfer deadline day to land the powerful midfielder.

Trabzonspor have already agreed personal terms with Sissoko and are currently the only club to have made a concrete offer for the France international this summer.

The 27-year-old racked up four assists in 34 games for Tottenham last term. Trabzonspor are keen on making a big-name signing this summer to celebrate their 50th year anniversary since the foundation of the club.
