Tottenham transfer news: Turkish giants step up pursuit of £30m Moussa Sissoko
Trabzonspor are set to step up their pursuit of Tottenham’s out-of-favour midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Trabzonspor boss Ersun Yanal has instructed the club to do everything they can to sign Sissoko.
The former Turkey international boss believes the France international will make them title contenders this season. Trabzonspor are keen on winning the league and making a big-name signing to celebrate their 50th year anniversary.
“We should be able to use the funds from the Onazi transfer to secure Sissoko’s move to Trabzonspor,” Yanal was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
“This transfer will have a huge bearing on our title hopes this season.”
Trabzonspor are willing to offer Sissoko a guarantee of first team football next season.
Fanatik also states that Trabzonspor are planning to fund their move for Sissoko from the sale on Ogenyi Onazi. The Black Sea Storm are planning to use the income to fund the loan deal fee for Sissoko.
