Tottenham take on Roma in their opening International Champions Cup pre-season tournament game at the Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego USA.

The game is scheduled for kick-off at 03:00 BST.

The Serie A side finished the league campaign third, Tottenham, similarly, finished the Premier League in third place.

Turkey international star Cengiz Under has made the Roma squad and did score his first goal for Roma when the two sides faced each other in the same tournament last summer.

Roma will be without Alisson Becker who completed his transfer to Liverpool but the Giallorossi have signed 12 players this summer, meanwhile Tottenham have yet to make a transfer.

Javier Pastore will start again after debuting in the 9-0 friendly win against Latina on July 14th.

Justin Kluivert is on the bench leaving Cengiz Under and Perotti to start on the wings with Schick getting the nod up front.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has a depleted squad and will be without star names Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris.

A total of nine players were semi-finalists in Russia this summer.

Additionally, Harry Winks, Josh Onomah did not travel to the US due to injuries, while Vincent Janssen, who is being closely linked with a move to Fenerbahce did not travel.

Davinson Sanchez, Heung-min Son, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Victor Wanyama are among the available first-teamers.
