Trabzonspor 2-1 Erciyesspor: Cardozo strikes again [divider]

Trabzonspor beat Erciyesspor 2-1 at the Avni Aker stadium to move back into into fifth place in the Süper Lig.

Mehmet Ekici put the home side ahead on 22 minutes with an exquisite free-kick strike.

Trabzonspor have now scored the highest number of set-piece goals in the league (12).

Portuguese international Jose Bosingwa setup Oscar Cardozo for the Black Sea Storm’s second goal just before half time.

Cardozo is now the top scorer in the league with 12 goals this season.

Anıl Karaer pulled one back for the away side on 57 minutes but it proved to be too little too late.

The win was Trabzonspor’s second since returning from the winter break.
