Trabzonspor are closing in on Liverpool’s out-of-favour striker Samed Yesil.
The Turkish outlet Fotospor have reported that Trabzonspor are close to signing Yesil after Liverpool confirmed that the 22-year-old will leave at the end of the month.
Yesil was included in Liverpool’s retained and released list for the season to the Premier League.
The report goes onto state that Yesil is keen on a move to the Turkish Super League after struggling with injuries over the past two seasons.
Trabzonspor are favourites to sign the Germany u19 international. The Black Sea based side are looking to re-build their squad for the upcoming season following a disappointing year.
The 2016-17 season will be Trabzonspor’s 50th year anniversary and the clubs President is targeting the Turkish Super Lig title.
Yesil has made two assists and has found the back of the four times in 17 appearances for Luzern this season.
