Club Official Confirms £25m Leicester City Bid Would Be Enough For Turkish Wonderkid Nicknamed ‘Turkish Messi’

Trabzonspor wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur has been closely linked with a move to Leicester City in the Turkish press.

Reports from Turkey claim the Foxes are prepared to offer £25 million for the 19-year-old starlet.

Trabzonspor general coordinator Ozkan Sumer has revealed that the club have not receive an official bid as of yet but the figures being quoted would be enough to prize the player away this summer.

Ozkan said: “There are lots of rumours and reports, let me say this there is no official offer.

“We have not spoke about this yet with the board so I am not speaking on behalf of everyone but if an offer was made for the figures being quoted we would have to accept it would be taken very seriously, considering the situation we are in it would likely be accepted.”

The rising star has established himself as a first-team star at Trabzonspor despite his age.

The youngster scored three goals and provided six assists in 29 games this campaign.

Mircea Lucescu has promoted the attacking midfielder to the Turkey senior national team, the youngest player in the squad.

Omur did not feature in the last three friendly games after pulling out of the squad due to injury.
