Trabzonspor have six French born and seven German born players in their squad.
The Black Sea Storm started with only two players born in Turkey against Gençlerbirliği on Monday 1 December – the Black Sea Storm won the game 4-1.
Goalkeeper Fatih Öztürk, midfielder Fatih Atık and winger Serdar Gürler were all born in France but hold Turkish citizenship as well through their parents.
Carl Medjani, Mustapha Yatabaré, Kévin Constant were also born in France.
Trabzonspor now hold the record for the highest number of French born player in a Süper Lig team.
Özer Hurmacı, Sefa Yılmaz, Ishak Doğan, Ferhat Yazgan, Deniz Yılmaz, Mehmet Ekici and Emre Güral were all born in Germany but all qualify as domestic Turkish players.
