Trazbsonspor have opened talks with Malaga for their Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa according to EurosportTR.
The Black Sea Storm are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper due to Onur Kivrak’s injury, which is expected to keep him on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
Newly appointed manager Ersun Yanal has made the signing of a new keeper a top priority in January.
The report from EurosportTR states that Trabzonspor have made a loan bid to Malaga for Ochoa, with the option to sign the Mexican international at the end of the season.
Ochoa moved to Malaga following a string of impressive performances in the World Cup however, is yet to start a game for the La Liga side.
Liverpool have also been linked with the Mexican and came close to signing him during the summer transfer window.
29-year-old Ochoa has made 66 international caps for Mexico but has not played any first team club football this season.
