Trabzonspor have been closely linked with a move for Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama.

The Spurs midfielder could end up leaving White Hart Lane this summer but it will not be for the Super Lig outfit.

Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu revealed that they have not made an offer for the Kenya international.

In fact, Agaoglu made it clear that Wanyama is not even a target.

“Yama who? no there is no offer, there is no interest, it is simply not true there is nothing like that,” Agaoglu was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

According to the BBC Club Brugge are in talks with Tottenham over the transfer of Wanyama.

Wanyama has struggled for playing time since Harry Winks’ return from injury at the start of last season.

The 28-year-old has also faced extra competition in midfield following the signing of Tanguy Ndombele for a club record £53.8m.
