Trabzonspor’s Aykut Demir has been linked with a return to Gençlerbirliği.
The Netherlands born defender has struggled to find playing time at Trabzon this season and is looking for a way out in January.
Gençlerbirliği are preparing a January bid for Demir. The 26-year-old moved to Trabzonspor from the Ankara based side for €3 million in 2013.
Demir spent four seasons at Gençlerbirliği after joining them on a free transfer in 2009.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are also rumoured to be interest in the defender who has one international cap.
Demir has made just one appearance for Trabzonspor this season.
